According to the given data, the total time of calling from the local fixed line was slightly increased from 70 billion minutes in the beginning until reached the peak at exactly 90 billion minutes in 1999. After that, there was a gradual decrease in using local - fixed line in the resident. In 2002, it eventually down to the same number as it was in 1995.
By contrast, mobile phones clearly became more popular, the total minutes that UK citizens used mobiles rose sharply more than 9 times, from under 5 billions in 1995 to over 45 billions in 2002. The other type - national and international fixed line - also showed the development but weaker. During 8 years period, national and international fixed line grew twice and reached the number 60 billion in 2002.
