The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone call in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.h

This chart depicts the year wise telephone calls in calculation of minutes, in billion, since 1995 to 2002.

In 1995, use of mobile phones were just limited to fewer minutes in a range 1 billions in minutes. However it rose to maximum of 40 billions in minutes, which broke all the previous records.

The year 1999 witnessed the use of local fixed line to 90 billions in minutes and over the next 4 years, the rate fell steadily, dropping to the 70 billions in minutes. From the graph, it is evaluated that the use of national and international fixed line was the second most popular among the users in comparison to the use of local fixed line. In regards to the use of local fixed line, minimum use was recorded in year 1995 around 40 billions in minutes whereas over the seven years, the figure was significantly increased to the 70 minutes in billions.
