Overall, it is clear that while there were upwnward trends in nation and international-fixed line and mobiles, local-fixed line experienced a stability.
As can be see from the graph, the number of minutes that people called by nation and international-fixed line just under 40 billions, in comparison with only around under 10 billions on mobiles in 1995. Over the next 6 years, there were significant rise in nation and international-fixed line and mobiles, at to exactly 60 billions and to just under 40 billions respectively. between 2001 and 2002, while the figure for minutes that mobiles were used for calls increased significantly by about 10 billions, there was nearly a stability at 60 billions in nation and international-fixed line.
Looking at the other media, local-fixed line was the most popular in 1995 with just over 60 billion of minutes using this. Over the next 3 years, there was an impressive decline of nearly 20 billon of minutes in local-fixed line. From 1998 to 1999, the number of people using local-fixed line to contact remain stable at 90 billion of minutes, which was followed by an dramatical decrease to 70 billion of minutes and was equal by the first time.
