The given chart illustrates the amount of waste that was collected by a recycling centre between 2011 and 2015.
Overall, it is noticeable that the waste collected by recycling centre in all areas increased substantially. Additionally, paper was the highest throughout the period, garden waste showed a converse pattern.
In 2011, the number of paper waste collected was recorded at 57 tons of waste, after which saw a considerable decrease to 48 tons of waste in the next two years; however, paper waste collection rebounded to 51 tons in 2014 before reach a peak of 70 tons in the final year. Similarly, glass waste collection began at 48 tons and witnessed a negligible decline (reaching 41 tons) in 2012. The figure then recovered to its initial number in 2013 and fluctuated from 48 to 52 tons from 2013 onward.
The number for tin waste ranged from 27 to 33 tons for the 5-year-period and reached 39 in 2015. Garden waste started a lower period (30 tons), and the figure was roughly halved in 2012, before rebounding to 31 tons in the next year and finishing at 35 tons in 2015.
