The vertical bar chart elucidates the information regarding the level of food consumption by USA residents in the fast food hotels measured in percentage in the years 2003, 2006 and 2013.
Overall, the bar graph outlines that over the three years a large proportion of the public opted to enjoy their snack food once in a week, once or twice a month and several times a week in eateries. However, the public who come under the categories of visiting a cafeteria a few times in a year, every day and those never accounted for a very low rate all in all.
In the beginning years 2003 and 2006, the public who dined once a week in snack bars depicted a fair proportion of about 31% in the former year and rose to around 33% in latter year. Moreover, those who ate several times a week were nearly 16% and 20% individually. Alternatively, the count of the USA residents witnessed extremely lower rates for categories every day and never with approximately less than 5% for both.
In contrast, for the year 2013, it was observed that people reduced their consumption of outside food from every day(3%) to once a week(27%), and it reached a peak of over a third(34%) for those who choose to eat once or twice in a month. This was a total of nearly 9% rise from 2006. Additionally, the public who preferred a few times a year noted the same rate of about more than one tenth as in the previous year 2006.
