The chart shows the number of international students from four different countries applying for universities in a European country from the year 2004 to 2008

The two provided tables illustrates the number of international students stemming from distinctive nations study in Canada and the USA in two school years.
In general, the Chinese students had a tendency to enrol in school in Canada while the USA was an ideal place for Canadian pupils to otp for when it comes to studying abroad. It’s also noticeable that despite witnessing a slight decrease in the number of students, America still retained its prevelance with numerous pupils.
As regard to Canada, it’s important that the biggest change in the number of students moving in this country was experienced in China(45%) from 5400 to 7850 in merely 2 years. The upward trend also can be seen in the figure for India and the USA as the figure for India pluged by 35% ( from 2100 to 2835), which was nearly 4 times as much as that of America (9%) with 450 pupils going to Canada for their studies. Overall, almost one third students from all three nations were drawn into canada between 2002 and 2004, which triggered a rise from 59870 to 70004 in the total students.
Turning to the USA. There was an upward trend in the figure for China and Canada while the opposite was true for India. Starting from 7%, Canada witnessed the biggest shift from 31000 to 33170, followed by 6%(110000-116600) for china and -9%(200000-182000) for india. There was also a decline in the total number of international students in the USA, which was the result of dramatic decrease in the number of Indian pupils.
