It is conspicuous that the above-55s preferred to watch films in this cinema more than the other groups while the reverse was true for those aged 31 to 45 in the year 2000.
By far the highest proportion was of people in the age range of 55 or so with 51%, followed by the youngest who were between 10 and 15 with 21%. Third in terms of the aggregate proportion of cinema-goers was the teenagers aged 16 to 20 with 15%, whereas the age group of 31 to 45 years old composed only 8% of total people hitting the cinema for films. In the interim, those aged 31 to 45 were the least common group going to the movie theater with 5% recorded.
