Given is the pie chart contrasting the proportion of a local cinema’s audiences who were categorized into five distinct age groups from 10 to 15,16 to 20, 21 to 30, 31 to 45, to 55 or so in the last year of the 20th century.
It is conspicuous that the above-55s preferred to watch films in this cinema more than the other groups while the reverse was true for those aged 31 to 45 in the year 2000.
By far the highest proportion was of people in the age range of 55 or so with 51%, followed by the youngest who were between 10 and 15 with 21%.
