A glance at the graph provided reveals some striking facts about water usage around the world and in some specific countries as well, during 2000.
As is illustrated in the graph, overall, the largest usage of water was done in the agriculture, while household usage remained the least one around the globe.
According to the chart, 70% water was used in agriculture, followed by industry with 22%, around the globe, while house hold water usage was just 8%.
Furthermore, India and China from the listed countries spent a great deal larger proportion of the water in their agriculture fields, 92% and 69% respectively, about half the number in New Zealand, 44%. The least agricultural-water usage stood at 8% in Canada. However, Canada consumed largest percentage of water in the industry, exactly 80%. Besides, in China the number for industrial-water consumption is 22% and in New Zealand, nearly just half the number to that in China, 10%. In India, industry-water consumption stayed least one, just 3%.
In New Zealand, household usage of water stood at 46%, the largest one compared to other listed countries. Canada stood at second position with 12% water usage at home, while China stayed just at 9%. Again as the case was in industry, the numbers of water usage stayed exactly 5% in India in the case of consumption at home.
