The given charts demonstrate the average percentages of three types of nutrients, sodium, saturated fats and added sugars, in typical meals. Three charts are divided into four section containing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
At first, highest amount of Sodium consumed in dinner which was 43%, near the half of the total amount. While people of the USA ate fourteen percent of sodium in both breakfast and snacks, they take one-third percentage in lunch.
In case of saturated fat, consumption percentage in dinner is highest likely to the sodium. In breakfast only 16% of saturated fat is available, though 5% more in snacks and more 5% in lunch than snacks.
Unlikely to sodium and saturated fat, added sugar was eaten more in snacks and the percentage is 42 of the totals. However, 23 percent added sugar consumed in dinner. There is only a little variation between the percentage of saturated fat in breakfast and lunch.
According to the charts, huge amount of the nutrients was eaten in dinner, which may be harmful for body. Yet, at snacks and lunch time, ingredients were taken moderately.
