The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The line graph illustrates the percentage of electrical appliances consumed by households from 1920 to 2019, while the second line graph gives some information about the number of housework per week at the same time.
It is obvious that the refrigerator had a dramatically upward trend and reached a peak. All groups of electrical appliances had an upward trend, while in another line graph, there was a downward trend throughout between 1920 and 2019.
As can be seen, the percentage of washing machines slightly increased during that time from more than 30% to upper 70% except a suddenly dropped about 9% in 1980. By 1920 the refrigerator from 30% had steadily increased until 2000 that reached a peak. The vacuum cleaner there was a minimum percent in 1920 and increased to reach the peak before other groups in 1980. It seems people who live in the country have more interest in using this electrical appliance, while this is completely different in the second graph and there was a downward trend between 1920 and 2019 approximately 40% to 10% in 2019.
As a result, people use electrical appliances a lot in this country and the number of hours per week has reduced during these years.
