The charts below show the comparison of some kinds of energy production
of France in 2 years.

The pie charts compare the five different energy sources of France namely: Coal, Gas, Petro, Nuclear and other in 1995 and 2005.

Overall, it can be seen that both coal and gas made up the same and biggest proportion in both examined years. However, whilst, petroleum reported a notable decrease in its value in 2005, other figures showed an increment.

In 1995, the highest percentage was occupied by coal, gas and petro at approximately 29% for all of them. After 10 years, there was a slight increase in the contribution of coal and gas to 30.93% and 30.31% respectively, while, energy produced from petrol dropped from 29.27% in 1997 to 19.55% after ten years.

On the other hand, the minimum share in the France's total energy production in 1995 was accounted for nuclear (6.4%) and other (4.9%) which therefore reached about one-tenth of total for the both types of energy.
