The line chart illistrates how many fast food meals and sitdown restaurant meals people had per year from 1970 to 2000.

As can be seen clearly that the number of 2 types of meals started at the same lowest rank, at 20. Then, both of them decreased and got the highest point in 2000.

From 1970 to 1980, the number of fast food meals had a slight increase from 20 to 30. After that, this number grown up speedly and continuously. People spent money on fast food meals more and more.In 1990, the number of fast food meals people ate was 55 and it got the peak at nearly 90 after a year.

In term of the number of sitdown restaurant meals, having the same trend with fast food meals, in 1970, this number had a mild upward. And it got a higher point than fast food meals in 1980.However, from 1980 to 2000, people wasted money on sitdown restaurant meals wans't so much as on fast food meals.The number of this type of meals grown slightly to around 45 in 1990 and got the peak at nearly 50 in 2000. Nevertheless, this number was still extremely lower than fast food meals's and the distance between them was 40.

Overall, the number of fast food meals consumed in 2000 made up the most significant figure.
