The given charts illustrate the proportion of water which be consumed for certain purposes in six various parts of the world.
Overall, water is used for agriculture the most in South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia; meanwhile, there are huge differences in North America or Europe, which is demonstrated that water used for industrial reasons mostly.
It is clear that numerous countries belonging to agriculture civilization usually spend almost their water to demand the requirements from agricultural using, especially in Central Asia, about 88%, 3 times as high as Europe approximately. This tendency also occurs in South America, South East Asia or Africa, 71%,81% and 84% respectively.
Utterly, Europe or North America consume around half of their water for industrial using; by contrast, they do not absolutely focus on agricultural purpose, with just 32% for Europe and 39% for North America. Interestingly, in spite of having the great percentage of water used for industry or agriculture, these ares witness a similar phenomenon, domestic using does not account significantly. Africa or Central Asia have the domestic-use figure which is higher compared to the industrial one, 9% and 7% respectively.
