The mentioned two pie charts illustrate the percentage of British students at one university in England who could speak other languages along with English into different years 2000 and 2010.

In general, as it is represented by the pie charts, the students who could speak Spanish only has the highest ratio whereas the proportion of students speaking German only has the lowest percentage in both the years.

The first pie chart shows that in 2000 the ratio of students speaking the French and another language was alike (15%). Moreover, only 10% of students were able to speak to other languages. In contrast, 20% of students were unable to speak any other languages.

We can understand from the second pie chart that in 2010 the proportion of students speaking Spanish, German and French was equal (10%) whereas the percentage was double for another language (20%). However, the ratio of students who could speak to other languages was 15% in year 2010.
