The charts below show the results of a survey about what people of different age groups say makes them most happy.
The two pie charts give an overview of different categories that two age groups, factors that makes them happy.
Overall, it is noticeable that young and older groups, achievement at work got a huge portion that contributed in obtaining happiness. However, doing their hobbies is the second factor that makes both age groups happy too.
Looking at the information in more detail, firstly, achievement at work made up the largest percentage in young and older age, accounted 31% and 32% respectively. Followed by, doing their hobbies who got the second biggest part, 22% for under 30 years old and an increase to 2% in 30 years and above. Furthermore, these only two categories are common in both age groups.
On the other hand, around 18% of younger age wants to have a good appearance that made up the third factor, while to have a financial security around 20% for older people makes them happy too. However, travelling for younger generation is the least important which comprised 15%. In contrast, people getting older want to spend their time being with family accounted 14% percentage. There are other factors that made up the both age groups makes them happy, which made up the smallest part in the chart.
