The bar charts depict information about the four various activities among the United Kingdom graduate and postgraduate students who did not have full-time employment after their graduation in 2008.
The majority of graduate students decided to continue their education at the University. Also, the number of further study students was much higher than those who decided to do voluntary work. By contrast, the number of further study students was 29665 while voluntary work students were just 3500. In the meantime, the number of graduate students decided to do part-time work and those who remained unemployed were similar at 17735 and 16235 respectively.
Meanwhile, the number of postgraduate students, which were about 2535, preferred to do part-time work, whereas the number of unemployed students was 1625. Also, there were just 345 students who did voluntary work. Besides that, a lot of postgraduate students decided to take further study.
As is illustrated in the chart, overall, most students opted for further studies, while a few went for voluntary works.
