Besides, national networks and newspapers are the second and third most used platforms, accounting for about 72% and 65%, respectively. Furthermore, nearly 58% and 48% of citizens access radio news and online-only sources for regular updates.
The most reliable option to get news is local TV, trusted by 52% of people. Likewise, national networks, newspapers, and radio are trustworthy media for approximately 45%-48% of people. However, in terms of news sources, radio is the fourth most popular choice, but trusted by a large share of people. In contrast, online-only sources are considered untrustworthy by 20% of people, appearing as the most unreliable news provider.
