Describe the table and pie chart below which shows the spending habits of teenagers in Australia. The table shows the amount of dollars spent on various activities per week while the pie chart shows the amount spent on curricular activities.

The table depicts the amount of dollars utilised by Australian teens on weekly basis on different items in three years whereas the pie chart illustrates the division of money spent for educational purposes.

Food was the major source of money utilisation with $150 in year 2001 followed by an incline of $10 in 2002 and remained same in next year. In 2001, teens spent $100 per week on clothes which increased by an average of $1 in each following year. $35 weekly were used on entertainment and the spending grew by $5 per annum till 2003. Least amount of money was used on cosmetics which was $20 in first year followed by an increase of $10 in next year and $2 in third year.

More than half of the proportion goes into the account of books and slightly less than quarter on internet services. Projects takes 18℅ of total curricular budget followed by a least of 3℅ which is invested in memberships.

Overall, All commodities showed rise in expenditure with coming year and food is main source of money utilisation. However, books requires great proportion of money for educational purposes.
