Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
In general, there are two production lines: potato and salmon. Salmon and potatoes are the two main ingredients that are mixed with beans and sauces to product fish pies.
The first industrial chain demonstrates the processing of potatoes. They are shipped and stored for up to 1 month. Then they are cleaned, peeled and cut into small slices. As the final step in pre-processing, the potatoes are boiled and cooled before packing to wait for the next process.
In the second line, prepared ingredients are fish. In this case, the salmon is transported to the factory for the longest time before they are processed which is 12 hours to ensure quality. The fish is first seasoned with salt and lemon juice to preserve the freshness of the fish. Afterward, they are steamed in the oven before the bones and skin are discarded. Before being cooked with other ingredients they are checked one last time, the double check. In the final stage, salmon, potatoes, beans and sauce are cooked together to make pies. The fish pies are ready to be packed into freezer boxes before being shipped to the point of sale.
