Firstly, the cold water stored in the tank is pumped down to injection well which is 4.5 km from the ground. Secondly, water from injection well is allowed to pass through geothermal zone containing hot rocks. Flowing water through hot rocks aids in increasing the temperature of water which will then reaches the production well.
Consequently, hot water from well is pumped up to the condenser. The steam generated from the hot water is then allowed to power turbines by rotating the turbines continuously. Finally, Kinetic energy produced from the rotating turbines is converted into electrical energy by generator which is then transferred to the electric poles.
