The diagram below shows how coffee is produced and prepared for sale in supermarkets and shops.
The diagram gives information about the steps involved in making coffee and preparing it for consumption in supermarkets and shops.
In general, there are eleven steps in total, starting with the collection of coffee, and ending with the coffee being packaged. It can be seen that the production of coffee is both by hand and by machines.
At the beginning of the process, farmers start picking the coffee beans out of the coffee trees by hand before these beans are dried in a large space at a hot temperature. The next step is that coffee beans are roasted in the roaster to peel off the seeds, and then cooled in the cooled machines. After being put in the grinder, where coffee beans become ground coffee mixed with hot water. This mixture is strained and dried.
Then, the frozen mixture is ground again and put in the vacuum. The ground coffee undergoes a process of evaporation to let the water evaporate, leaving only the ground coffee. Finally, the coffee is packaged in various containers and sold to retailers, supermarkets, or shops.
