The diagram illustrates a great information about the progress of making electricity through a hydroelectric power station.

Overall, it is inherent that the process involves 5 mains stages beginning with water collection stemming from the number of rivers and finishing with the supply of power into national grid.

To begin with, after saving a huge amount of water from rivers, it is such a high level that a reservoir seems to cover these amount. Subsequently, flows of water controlled by a dam which opens by day and closes at night makes the turbines spinning and activating a generator. In addtion, water keeps going to straightforward to a pool with low level. Via a variety of power lines, a significant electricity is provided to national grid.

At the end of the process, during night time, water is pumped into a high-level reservoir from a low one by reversible turbines. It flows backs through the same tunnel in the day time.
