The picture illustrates how the collection of rainwater for drinking usage in an Australian town is done. Overall, it can be seen from the figure that there are 5 main process turning rainwater to drinking water.
First, rainwater from the cloud goes down and inside the drain. The waters in the drain from each houses then are filtered through water filter. After it is done, the filtered water will be transferred with the help of pipes to a tank to storage it. Next, the water that has been storaged moves to another place to get treatment. In this specific tank, the water will be combined with chemicals in order to make sure the water is drinkable. Finally, once the chemicals and water are mixtured well, the water will then be served in each houses via the tap available. If the drinking water drops into the sink, it will also go back to the cycle of being filtered.
