Overall, there are totally seven steps, starting with the planting of sugar canes and concluding with the drying of sugar crystal.
In the first step, sugar canes are planted in large-scale fields. After the period of 12-18 months, sugar canes grow into trees which can be harvested. This work can be done manually or with the help of machines. Having havesting, these cut sugar canes are taken into crushing machine, in which they are crushed into sugar juice.
The next step is the purification of the juice, using a limestone filter. After being purified, the juice is next evaporated with heat, resulting in creating of syrup. consequently, the produced syrup is moved to a centrifuge machine to seperate sugar crystal in it. The step of drying and cooking sugar crystal ends the whole process, lead to the manufature of processed sugar that we usually use in cooking.
