The diagram demonstrates the process of producing bricks for the building industry.
There are six phases in manufacturing bricks, which is a building material, from raw clay to the final products.
Initially, a huge amount of clay is exploited from underground by a digger. After that, the clay is filtered through a metal grid to get rid of residue then it go through on a roller to the the stage of turning it into bricks. The clay is shaped either by a wire cutter, which is a more productive way, or by using moulds.
The next step of the process is drying the wet bricks completely by putting them in a drying oven for 24 to 48 hours. Following that, the bricks are brought to a kiln and heated. After being hardened, firstly, they are baked at moderate temperature, which is at 200°C to 980°C then at high temperature, which is from 870°C to 1300°C. Having completed all these steps, the bricks are moved to the cooling chamber and stay there for 48 to 72 hours to cool down and be usable. The final stage is packaging and the deliver the products to customers.
