Overall, there are seven stages involved in the manufacturing process of bricks from the first phase, digging of the clay to the final step which is, the delivery.

Firstly, the clay is dug using machines. Following which it is sent for screening using a metal grid and the fine particles conveyed by rollers. Next, the clay is mixed with sand and water, prior to being deposited into a mould or cut by a wire to form bricks.

The moulded bricks are then placed in a drying oven for 24 to 48hrs before being sent to the kiln and heated first at a moderate temperature, 200C - 980C and later at a high temperature, 870C to 1300C. Then they are left in the cooling chamber for 48 to 72hrs and subsequently sent for packaging, then the final step, delivery.
