Firstly, the cacao trees are grown in S. America, Africa, and Indonesia until pods are ripe and turn red. They will be harvested and the pods are detached to get the white beans. The next stage is beans fermented in banana leaves before they are spread on a bamboo mat under the sun to dry. After that, dry beans are put in large sacks with 64 kilograms per one. Next, they are taken to the factory after being transported by train or lorry. At the factory, beans will be roasted at 350 degrees C. And then, cocoa beans are crushed by the grinder to remove the shell and only keep the inner part. Finally, those are pressed so that we have liquid chocolate.
