The figure shows the procedure involved in canning of fruits. It takes lot of steps involved from picking up the fruits to the final packing of them in cans.
To begin with, the fruits are hand picked from the tree and transported by trucks to the location where they are to be canned. After transportation, the fruits are washed and checked for their quality before storing in cold conditions. Then the fruits are weighed/graded after which they are peeled. Before placing them in cans, they are sliced into small bits. The cans are sealed and sterilised after placing the fruits in the can. Before dispatch, they are labelled and stored.
Overall, the canning of fruits require 13 steps that involves washing, grading, peeling, slicing and placing the slices in cans after which they are sealed and cooked and then labelled before dispatch.
