The diagram depicts how sugar is manufactured from sugar cane.
Overall, there are seven distinct stages contributing to the production of sugar, beginning with the growing process of sugar canes which takes merely 12 to 18 months on average, and ending with processed sugar being dried and cooled.
To commence with, sugar canes are grown on fields for at least one year to reach their suitable heights. When this type of sugary flora is highly probable to be harvested, workers will ensure these sugar canes will be cut off with the help of cutting tools and the involvement of machines to cultivate the speed of harvesting. After having been collected, those canes will go through the crushing machines, which can help with juice suppression.
The process then continues with the purification of juice through limestone filters before reaching the stage of evaporation. At this stage, under a high level of heat, the evaporator will ensure the sugary juice becoming syrup. Chronologically, since sugar crystals need to be separated from syrup, this liquid will be centrifuged to serve the aforementioned intention. Coming to the last stage is the crystals being dried and cooled, and the result is sugar being made and possibly being put out on marketplaces for further consumption.
