The diagram indicates the key stages in production of milk and its by products.
Overall, its shows various stages of producing milk from cows eating grass in the field to the consumption of milk and related products by customers.
In the first step, cows are being grazed in a field. Twice a day, the cows are taken to a place where they are milked by milking machine. Once the cows have been milked, the milk is stored in large refrigerator
storage cans in order to keep it fresh. Every day, a milk tanker takes the milk from storage and delivers it to dairy.
At the dairy, the milk is used in two ways. One it is used for making byproducts like cheese, cream and butter and the other the milk is pasteurized and processed for packaging in bottles for sale. The finished goods are readily available in supermarkets and stores to be purchased by customers.
