The diagram demonstrates the eight-step process of milk production and other dairy products.
Generally, the first half of the process is milk collection. First, dairy farms allow cows to graze on plants growing in fields in order to produce milk. Then, during the day, cows are milked twice by utilising a milking machine. Following that, collected milk is carried to a refrigeration storage where it is stored for delivery. Afterwards, a milk tanker gets milk and delivers it to a Dairy once a day.
The second part of the process is creation of dairy products. In the Dairy, some of the milk is pasteurised and packaged, while the rest is utilised in order to create other products like cheese, cream and butter. As soon as these products are prepared, they are delivered to shops or supermarkets and sold to customers.
Overall, the process of producing milk has eight steps where the first half is collecting milk from cows and the second half is the production of dairy food.
