The table and graph provide information about the means of transportation and the reasons for people using cars in Edmonton. Overall, it is readily apparent that the majority of people in Edmonton transport using cars and a large number of people use these vehicles for commuting to the workplace.
To begin with, as many as 45% of Edmonton citizens travel using cars, and commuting with Light Right Transit (LRT) ranks second with 35% of people using this transportation method. Additionally, the least favorable means of transportation are bus and taxi, with only 10% of Edmonton commuters using each transportation method.
Moving to the table, more than half of people drive their cars to travel to workplaces, and going for business at just below 5% that of travel to workplace, followed by dropping children to school (40%).
