The diagram gives information about the process of building an igloo from snow.
In general, there are 13 steps in totals, beginning with finding hard-packed snow and finally completing snow igloo. It can be seen that all process are manually done, and simple tools such as saws and shovels are used in all process.
At the beginning of the diagram, after locating the hard-packed snow, people use snow saw to cut snow into large snowed blocks with the suitable size. Next, the surface of these blocks is manually smoothed, and placed next to each other at the base to form a circular-shaped wall. An entrance is created by digging an enormous hole under the wall before putting the block into the last opening on the top of the igloo.
After that, soft snow is used to put onto the outer wall, and fill the crevices of the igloo by hand. The inside wall of the igloo are smoothed before building an entrance. The next step is that the igloo is covered the hole with snow blocks, small holes are created in the wall to bright the igloo.
