The diagrams below show the development of a small fishing village and its surrounding area into a large European tourist resort. Summarizes the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and makes comparisons where relevant.
The two maps give information about how a small fishing village changed, it’s surrounded by a large European tourism from 1974 to 2004
Overall, the area underwater has remarkable changes, evolving from a quiet, rural settlement. However, the significant change is how much the area was built in 2004. Moreover, it can be seen clearly if we look at the specific decline.
First, look at the maps of the fishing village in 1974 ( 12,000 population). The fishing village has eight areas including fishing village, boats, harbor, woodland, village, olives, sheep and goats and village. In the underwater areas, it’s also a place to work for living conditions such as boats and a fishing village next to it, the harbor on the right. Look at the map on the right at the west, they have woodland and the village opposite them is olives plants for eating and fruit. They also have the area for livestock farming, but the main choice is sheep and goats. Finally, the other village next to it on the east side.
By 2004, the fishing village was bigger and the population had risen from 12,000 to 80,000 and 50,000 tourist beds. It also has about nine places including hotels, golf course, two beaches , original village, village and tourist shops, farm land, homes of locals and the road. At the right on the west side had hotels and a beach next to it, the golf course at the top with village and tourist shops, the opposite if the beach was the original village ( people who lived there for a long time). Next to the village is the other beach on the east, if people want to enroll in the village they have a road there. Finally, the farmland for fruit and vegetables opposite the road and next to is homes of locals. So, it can be seen that they are more and more development in the future and more open.
