The diagrams show changes in a student common room

Given are the two maps depicting the sea changes in arranging the position of furniture in the student's room during a course of 5 years to date.
Perceptibly, the space has experienced drastic alterations with the addition and relocation of a handful of facilities.
In the middle of the room, two round tables have been replaced by a lengthy rectangular table and a bench for laptops while the other two sets have plateaued over the years. There is also a drinks machine, four armchairs and a television which have been added on the right corner of the space. On the top side of the map, one of the benches has been replaced by a new microwave.
