According to the first picture, heating accounts for 42 percent, making it the highest percentage from all. While, water heating consumes 30 percent of overall energy, combining together with heating 72% percent uses for making hotness. Refrigeration, cooling, lighting and other appliances are each less than just 10%, only other appliances are 15 percent.
The main factor of greenhouse gas emissions come from water heating at 32 percent while heating releases only 15 percent, almost one-third of its consumption. Other appliances also one of the greenhouse effect problem, it releases 28 percent which higher than its energy consumption percentage. Refrigeration, cooling and lighting are small factor for greenhouse effect only 14 percent, 8 percent and 3 percent respectively.
In conclusion, even heating and water heating are the highest energy consumption in Australia, they release greenhouse gas less than other factors whereas other appliances release greenhouse gas at almost twice times from their energy use.
