Western Europe was the favourite place of UK residents in 1995 for holidays. In contrast to holidays, trivial visits were made for business and visits to friends and relatives in all these five years. The feeblest visits was made to North America by UK residents in 1996 for other reasons.
Moreover, the visits to Western Europe mounted year by year for the purpose of holidays. It reached to roughly 19,700 in 1997. Whereas the least visits was to, anew, North America which upsurged to nearly 1560. In the year 1998, the topmost visits was made for the purpose of holidays, over, to Western Europe. The visits was virtually 24,500. The supreme visits was to Western Europe and was for the purpose of holidays.
