The flowchart below explain how laundry is handled. Using the information from the flow chart describe the laundry process.
The flow chart shows the detailed procedure of how a laundry business handles the laundry including the use of a washing machine and the actions of the laundry staff.
Initially, the staff collect the dirty clothes from the customers, then clothes are segregated from heavy to delicate materials such as towels and linens, this stage both fabrics are placed separately into laundry bags. Next, all the laundry bags are transported to the washing activity area, where clothes are loaded separately and accordingly into the washing machine for a two hours washing machine cycle. Once finished, the water is partially drained and the clothes are ready for drying. When drying and folding; there are two options to choose from; for heavy fabrics like towels, the staff will press the complete dry button before sending the items to the folding machine; whilst for delicate fabrics like linens, the staff will press the half moist button then iron the linen before going to the to the folding machine.
