The following two pie charts show the results of a survey into the popularity of various leisure activities among European adults in 1985 and 1995.
Given are the two pie charts illustrating the questionnaire about tendency adults did in the spare time between 1985 and 1995.
It is clear that people set aside almost time watching TV in 1985. By contrast, doing other activities was the category receiving the least expenditure in 1995.
To embark on, people were consumed with watching TV in both years, at 32% and 30% respectively, while, time for talking with family in 1985 (18%) was higher than in 1995 (7%). However, adults tended to talk with friends, at 26% in 1995 and in 1985 was lower, at 21%.
While eating out in 1985 occupied 23%, the figure in 1995 was only 8%. In comparison to watching TV, there was a mere minority of added activities experienced in two years, at not over 6%. A noticeable fact is the appearance of playing computer games in 1995 and this hobby accounted for 27% of the total group.
