The line graph show that the birth rates in China and the USA, how these rates change from 1920 to 2000.
Overall, the birth rates in both nation decreased over the period of 80 years. Moreover, the birth rate of China in most years higher than that of the USA.
In the 1920s, the birth rate in China fluctuated although it remained above 10 %. In the 1930- 1945 period, there is a significant increase in birth rate to 15%, followed by a sharp decrease to 5%. After that, the figure of China rose considerably to 20%, which the highest point of whole line graph. By contrast, five years later, the birth rate fell rapidly by over 10 %, dropping to approximately 2% in 2000.
The change of birth rate in the USA is partially similar to that in China. from 1920 to 1940 It fluctuated and fell remarkable to 5%. Since then, it reached the highest point, 15%. Throughtout the remainder of the period, the America birth rate gradually decreased to exactly 7%.
