The graph below compares changes in the birth rates of China and the USA between 1920 and 2000. Summarise the information by seclecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

The graph compares China and the USA in terms of their birth rates during the period from 1992 to 2000.
It is obvious that both nations had significant changes in the fertility during that time, with lows in the 1940s and highs in the 1950s.
From approximately 10% in 1920, the birth rates in China fluctuated and reached 15% in 1935, then decreased rapidly to 5% in the 1940s. The next 5 years saw a increase in the birth rates, to the peek of 20% in 1950, followed by a period of decline.
The birth rates in the USA also fluctuated in the same time, from around 11% to 13% between 1920 to 1935, before went down quickly from 1935 and dropped to only 5% in 1945. Over the following 5 years, the rates raise slowly and got the highest at 1950, which was 15%. The latter half of the century, the fertility rates in the USA reduced to roughly 7% in 2000.
