The graph shows the information regarding on different form of energy that USA consumed since 1980 with projections until 2030. Over 6 type of energy, petrol and oil was known to be the most energy that consumed by USA.
In the beginning of 1980, petrol and oil had 35 quadrillion units of energy consumption and seemed to have fluctuated units number of consumption until 1995. The units started to increase and predicted to reach the highest units in 2030 with approximately 50 quadrillion units. The second most consumed energy was coal and followed with natural gas. Both of the energy was a bit in a competition since 1980 (around 15 and 20 units respectively), and in the late 2010, coal rose to nearly 30 quadrillion units within 20 years while natural gas remain stably with the same number of units.
For the remaining energy, there was nuclear, solar/wind, and hydropower. These three had the same units, which is just less than 5 quadrillion units in 1980. Nuclear kept increasing and the units became doubled in 2030. While solar/wind and hydropower also experienced fluctuations, however, resulting hydropower as the least consumed energy in USA.
