In general, US, Western Europe and Japan consumed less oil throughout 6 years and are predicted to decrease in the next 15 years. By contrast, the total oil spent by China and Middle East were slightly increased over the period of 2009 and 2015 and tends to rise up in 2030.
In 2009, US consumed almost 10 millions barrels of oil per day, this number was by far 3 other areas. The figure then remained relatively constant from 2009 to 2015 and starts to decline from 2015. The number is anticipated to sharply declined to about 4 millions barrels in 2030. Besides, 4 millions barrels of oil was the figure of Western Europe and Japan in 2009, these regions also followed the same trend as US and are expected to be about 2 millions barrels per day in the year 2030.
By contrast, China and Middle East used only 2 millions barrels of oil in 2009, this data then slightly increased to about 3 millions barrels with China and almost didn’t vary with Middle East in 2015. Both areas are anticipated to fluctuate and reach the number of about 3 millions barrels per day in 2030.
