The given line graph delineates the consumption of total oil in four nations between 2009 and 2030.

On analysis the data, it can be clearly seen that in 2009, the consumption of oil was recorded the highest in US, which accounted for 10 millions barrels per day. It remained same in 2015, but it is rejected that this number will be decreased to 4 millions of barrels per day. Middle east consumed almost 2 millions of barrels per day in 2009 and it showed slight rise in 2015. In 2030, it is estimated the number would be 3 millions of barrels per day.

In 2009, western Europe and Japan displayed an opposite trend then China in the consumption of oil. They consumed similar amount of oil, constituting almost 3 millions of barrels per day in 2015. It is predicted that in 2030, both countries will be showed an opposite trend.

Overall, in future, the consumption of oil will be observed highest in US and the lowest in western Europe and Japan but in the case of China and Middle East it will be remained same.
