The line graph gives detailed information about how much money spent on purchasing books, recorded in million dollars, in four different countries between 1995 and 2005. Looking more closely at the chart, it is obvious from the data that expenditure on books in all of the countries had an upward trend over the period.
According to the chart, the books were the most bought in Germany starting at 80 million dollars in 1995. There was a fluctuation on books sold in this period and ended up at approximately 95 million dollars in 2005. However, Austria people were the least interested in books at the beginning at 30 millions, but there was a dramatically increase in the last 5 years from 40 to above 70 millions.
Spending money on books in Italy and France was about 50 and 55 million dollars at the first year of this period respectively. By 2005, there was a rise of 20 millions to 75 millions in France. Similarly, Italy's expenditure on the books climbed up to over 60 million dollars, yet they became the least buying books country instead of Austria at the end of the period.
