The line graph compares the expenditure of money on books in four countries from 1995 to 2005
Overall, the amount of money spend on books in four countries was significant increased over the period of 10 years. A high amount of money was highest in Germany
In the 1995-1999 period, the money rate in Germany was significantly rose and to 90 million in 1999. The next period the figure was slightly decreased about 83 million in 2003. In the 2000s , the number of Germany dramatically increased and the trend reached its highest point about 96 million in 2005. There was a stark contrast between the two countries. Over the same period ,the amount of money in France was increased and approximately 75 million in 2005
By 1999 around 30 million money was spent on books in Italy , while the number of money was slightly decreased about 49 million in 1999. In the following period, the money rate was significantly climbed to 52 million in 2005. In the 1995-1999 period ,the spending of money on books in Austria was considerably increased and reached at 40 million by 1999 and remained stable between 1999 and 2001. The period from 2001 to 2005 the figure was dramatically rose around 71 million in 2005
