The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years.
The line graph gives information about the volumes of waste made by three companies namely: A,B and C during the period between 2000 and 2015.
It is obvious that there were significant changes in the amounts of waste which are produced by all three companies on the chart shown. Besides, while companies A and B had downward trends, the volume of waste generated by company C underwent an upward trend.
In 2000, the amount of waste made by company A stood at 12 tonnes of waste, followed by companies B and C with nearly 9 waste in tonnes and more than 3 tonnes of waste respectively. However, over the following 5 years, while companies B and C rose by around 3 tonnes of waste, the amount of waste created by company A declined to 10 tonnes of waste in 2005.
Turning to the years between 2005 and 2015, the waste produced by company A witnessed a considerable decrease to approximately 9 tonnes of waste. Additionally, the same change as company A, the figure for company B also plummeted to exactly 3 waste in tonnes. By contrast, company C's waste experienced a surge, from 6 tonnes to nearly 9 tonnes of waste in 2010 and reached a peak of 12 tonnes of waste in 2015.
