The given line graph revels the information about the average carbon dioxide had emitted by per person from four countries: United kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal between 1967 and 2007. The given data is calibrated in metric tonnes.

It can be seen that in the year 1967, United kingdom had the peak value of Carbon dioxide emission which were 11 metric tonnes, following with Sweden with carbon dioxide emission slightly less than 9 metric tonnes then Italy with 4.1 metric tonnes and at last Portugal had the carbon dioxide emission of nearly 1 metric tonnes. In addition to this, Italy and Portugal showed the similar trend. Apart from this, Sweden had depicted some fluctuation for Carbon dioxide emission and in the year 2007 it had showed least carbon emission which were 5.5 metric tonnes.

Overall, it is evident that united kingdom and Sweaden had showed downward trend whereas, Italy and Portugal had shown upward trend of carbon dioxide emission.
