The types of countries are divided into the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal. Overall, it is clear from the chart the United Kingdom was the highest figure throughout the period while Sweden was the lowest figure in the last period.
It is apparent that the the emission of carbon dioxide per person in Italy was doubled from 4 metric tons in 1967 to approximately 8 metric tons in 2007. In addition, in Portugal, carbon dioxide emission was significantly jumped to roughly 5 metric tons in 2017, from initially around 1 metric ton in 1967.
In contrast, the United Kingdom and Sweden figures sort of the same trend. Carbon dioxide emissions from both countries decreased dramatic to just under 10 and 6 in 2007, respectively. However, emission of carbon dioxide in Sweden was go up to the peak in 1997, before this figure slightly declined.
