By clearly observing the graph, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted per person in Italy and Portugal was increased, while compared to that of United Kingdom and Sweden.
With regards, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted per person in Italy was doubled from 4 metric tonnes in 1967 to almost 8 metric tonnes in 207. Similarly, the emission in Portugal also increased from 1 metric tonnes in 1967 to nearly 6 metric tonnes in 2007.
On the other hand, United Kingdom decreased there average emission of Carbon dioxide per person from 11 metric tonnes in 1967 to 7 metric tonnes in 2007. Although, there was a little increase of emission of carbon dioxide in 1977, the overall amount of carbon dioxide emitted per person in Sweden decreased from 8.5 metric tonnes to 6 metric tonnes from 1967 to 2007.
